With two proposals up this round it looks like both may struggle to gain full support. Hopefully they can both be resubmitted for seperate rounds in the future as I think they are both excellent. One good proposal per round for the win, is my thought.

Hey everyone, I’d like to address some of the recent comments under the proposal regarding bots and farming. There are a few misconceptions worth clearing up and I want to highlight the safeguards already built into the design.
- “Farmers getting free tokens.”
Auto-voting is not unlocked by holding VOT3 alone. Users must also complete ≥3 sustainable actions via VeBetterPassport. This makes it impractical to spin up burner wallets just to farm rewards. Rewards are not free. Relayers must still complete the on-chain work (vote + claim) and spend gas before any fee is earned. If abuse were ever to occur through sustainable actions, it should be handled at the dApp level. Each dApp is responsible for keeping its actions secure and preventing manipulation. - “Cheaters paradise / bots will take everything.”
Relayers cannot cheat the system. The smart contracts require that all votes and claims are completed before relayers can claim fees. If one user is skipped, no one gets paid.
As for bots: using automation does not create new rewards, it simply executes the same work more efficiently. Just like in a normal job, someone might use better tools to finish tasks faster, but the principle is the same: work done → reward earned. Bots here are tools, not exploiters. - “Rewards should be for active participation, not automatic.”
That principle still applies. Users must stay eligible through sustainable actions, and governance proposals will still require manual votes. Auto-voting only applies to X Allocation rounds, where the main goal is broad, consistent participation. In fact, without auto-voting, many genuine users miss rewards due to gas costs or forgetting to vote which ends up driving them into centralised third-party services. - MVP Safety Net
As noted in the proposal, this is an MVP rollout . Parameters like fee %, cap, and requirements may be adjusted during this phase based on real-world data before anything becomes final. If issues arise, the DAO will address them.
We also understand that many community members are eager to get involved as relayers and want a fair system for who get to participate. That is absolutely the goal long term. However, there are bigger challenges that must be addressed first such as ensuring relayers are reliable and preventing duplicate transactions that waste gas. You can find these challenges detailed under Risk Analysis → Relayer Reliability and Duplicate Transactions & Gas Wastage . These are critical issues to solve before opening up wider relayer participation.
Unfortunately most people commenting on the proposal have no idea this place exists as its not properly advertised. Also only a small handful of us actively participate anyway.
Be grateful you aren’t getting “make it a loan” comments

Hey everyone, small update on the execution of this proposal.
Work is already underway to upgrade the contracts to support such feature in the next weeks. Following that, a foundation relayer will be created, and the UI to toggle autovoting will be enabled, to allow users to use the feature.
After a few weeks of testing, access will be opened to everyone to become a relayer, but we will share here our insights before that.

I would like to share a quick update on the progress. The contracts have been successfully upgraded to support auto-voting.
Next Steps:
- We’re integrating the new auto-voting flow with the existing VeBetter DAO website
- We’re building the first internal relayer to execute these automated actions
- The MVP documentation is also currently in progress
We’ll provide another update once these components are live. In the meantime, there are no breaking changes. The existing vote casting and reward claiming flows remain fully functional.

Auto-Voting Update
Hey guys, we’ve completed the full MVP auto-voting rollout. Everything discussed previously is now live and operational with no breaking changes to existing flows.
What’s done:
- Auto-voting & rewards claimed fully integrated into the VeBetter DAO website. You can check it out in here

- Documentation is also live
