Despite the growing popularity of sustainable actions rewarded through blockchain tokens such as B3TR, users often struggle to find practical ways to use these assets. The lack of simple and tangible conversion tools limits both adoption and engagement.
Solution
GronCard introduces an intuitive and accessible app that allows users to convert B3TR tokens into gift cards for popular stores and services. By integrating seamlessly with VeWorld, GronCard transforms blockchain rewards into real purchasing power, making sustainability both rewarding and practical, even for users who are not crypto savvy.
While GronCard is already live and supporting several VeBetter apps in their user adoption, the solution is still far from frictionless. With this grant, we intend to scale operations by:
- Enabling real-time transactions:
Integrate a professional gift card provider via API so that all GronCard transactions can be processed in real time instead of manually. - Opening and documenting GronCard APIs:
Create clear wiki documentation and make GronCard’s APIs publicly accessible so any dApp can integrate GronCard at no cost. - Expanding partners and coverage:
Onboard additional gift card providers across multiple categories and countries to make GronCard usable on a global scale. - Acquiring new users for VeBetter:
Run targeted marketing campaigns to attract users who currently purchase gift cards from general providers and introduce them to VeBetter via GronCard. Thanks to B3TR-powered cashback, it becomes more convenient and rewarding for users to purchase gift cards on GronCard than through traditional platforms, creating a strong incentive to join and stay active in the ecosystem.
