[Grant Proposal Preview] B3TR BEACH

Company Details

Project Intro

Our mission is to reduce pollution in beaches, rivers, lakes, and parks through a decentralized Impact-to-Earn model that rewards real-world environmental impact. We support and spotlight organizations making a difference while raising capital and awareness for community-led cleanup efforts. Our events focus on removing waste, educating participants, and demonstrating measurable Proof of Work.

We believe small actions create big change. Our vision is a world where natural environments are protected and communities are empowered to care for the ecosystems they rely on. Our mascots, Ranger Bear and Inky the Octopus, make education engaging for all ages.

To do B3TR, we must know B3TR.
Educate. Demonstrate. Collaborate.

With your support, we can make our planet B3TR.

Problem

Plastic pollution is damaging beaches, rivers, lakes, and parks, harming wildlife, polluting waterways, and reducing community quality of life. Many local groups want to help but lack consistent funding, resources, and educational tools. Community cleanups remove waste especially plastics preventing wildlife entanglement and ingestion while protecting habitats, improving water quality, and creating safer public spaces. Though cleanups don’t solve the root causes of waste, they are essential for reducing immediate harm and raising awareness.

Furthermore, current VeBetter proof-of-work style solutions can be easily exploited. A bad-faith actor can drop their own trash, photograph it, and claim rewards, undermining the mission. This loophole is encouraging short-term extraction rather than sustainability. An estimated 90% of participants do not hold the token; they farm small amounts of B3TR and immediately sell, creating constant sell pressure and threatening long-term token stability.

Solution

B3TR BEACH B3TR BEACH is a hybrid web2/web3 dApp that combats beach, river, lake, and park pollution by incentivizing community cleanups through tokenized rewards, transparent tracking, and waste awareness through education literature and classroom sessions.

To avoid user fatigue from the typical repetitive model and its easy exploits, we aim to introduce a fresh approach focused on real impact, not simple point-and-shoot submissions. B3TR BEACH will serve as a dashboard for verified cleanups and education, while enabling community events and showing a verifiable funds and resources tracker (allocation tracker).

Cleanup events will register participants, collect data, and require photo/video proof, as well as a packet for waste tracking and impact with rewards based on verified duration and effort. We also plan to directly support the DApps that align with the growth of the DAO and our mission as well as true sustainability in their own regards.

We realized you can help people do b3tr by showing them directly why they should and what the detrimental impacts that are diminishing our planet. The awareness can’t be stressed enough as that is its own incentive. We will also fund and empower local groups through donations, sponsorships, micro-grants, and educational outreach.

Execution Plan

Phase 1 (Q4 2025 – Q3 2026): Legal & Operational Setup

We are securing our legal foundation with a Florida 501(c)(3) filing, targeting IRS approval anytime between Jan 2026 through Aug 2026 to truly enable tax-exempt donations, grant access, and stronger credibility.

To fund our first year, we will pursue major environmental and youth education grants (NOAA, Patagonia, Ocean Conservancy) and seek regional support through donations and sponsorships in Tennessee, Florida and the UK. Our goal is to raise $150,000 in seed funding within 12 months.

We will also leverage our leadership network, led by our Chief Operations Director, a 5 Gyres and VeChain Ambassador, who is active in global plastic-pollution initiatives and regional eco-programs. This network will support strategic partnerships, verified data sources, and on-chain impact tracking.

Phase 2 (Q1 – Q3 2026): Launch Core Programs in Devon, UK

We will roll out our first operational initiatives in Devon, beginning with 8-10 community-led coastal cleanups from Jan to Sep 2026, targeting the removal of 10 tons of debris and engaging more than 500 volunteers.

Next, we will pilot the “Inky & Ranger” education program in five primary schools between Feb and Jun 2026, reaching roughly 3,000 students and deploying our full curriculum kit.

Meanwhile, our digital impact platform (web, dApp, and mobile dashboard) will roll out between Aug 2025 and Apr 2026 to track grants, events, debris data, and partner ROI with full transparency.

Phase 3 (Q4 2025 onward): Partnerships & Revenue Engine

We will expand our partnership network while activating sustainable revenue streams. Current partners include The Bigbury Beach Shop for co-branded eco-merch, Discovery Surf Schools for Surf + Clean events and youth engagement, and Forest and Beach for curriculum integration and field trips. We are also in active discussions with Devon County Council for endorsement, permitting, and co-funding of coastal and river initiatives.

Our revenue model combines nonprofit media and merchandise operations with grants, donations, eco-merch sales, sponsored “Ride-Along” content, and a children’s book series featuring Inky the Octopus and Ranger Bear. All net proceeds will be allocated monthly to support environmental partners and program growth.

Phase 4 (Q2 2026 onward): Scale Impact with Blockchain Transparency

We will record every cleanup, event, and reward on-chain through VeChain, giving partners verifiable proof-of-impact for donors and grant applications. A monthly sustainability pool will be distributed based on each partner’s share of activity (fixed %, e.g. 2 of 10 events = 20% of pool), with funds restricted to youth education or environmental improvement.

Phase 5 (2027+): Global Expansion

Using the Devon model as our blueprint, we will expand into Tennessee and Florida with five cleanups and three school pilots in each region. By 2028, we aim to onboard 50+ verified partner organizations and produce a shared Ride-Along documentary series. Our Inky & Ranger curriculum will scale globally through a train-the-trainer model, reaching classrooms in at least ten countries.

Our promise: Transparency, real impact, and zero hype. We don’t sell tokens; we deliver cleaner rivers, lakes, and oceans, and we prove it on-chain. Together, we can make every beach and waterway B3TR, one cleanup, one child, one block at a time.

Target Users

  • Environmental organizations
  • Educational & academic centers
  • Government entities
  • Conservationists
  • Youth centers
  • Beach shops

Competitive Edge / Differentiation

Most X-2-Earn dApps rely on quick micro-actions that lead to farming, sell-offs, and user fatigue. B3TR BEACH reverses this by focusing on organized community cleanups and long-term sponsorships and partnerships that reward real impact and naturally alleviate sell pressure by not rewarding an individual user (only event organizers) but the DApp/Business that truly focuses on the real mission while protecting the DAO

As a pending 501(c)(3) with active partners (beach shops, schools, surf clubs, and councils) we empower local groups instead of chasing one-off clicks. Our mascot-driven education programs create lasting engagement, while every cleanup, grant, and kilogram collected will be transparently verified on-chain.

While others chase short-term crypto activity, B3TR BEACH is building a sustainable environmental movement that protects ecosystems, strengthens token stability, and turns participants into true ambassadors for a cleaner planet.

Outcomes

Benefits to Users

  • Earn more B3TR for real effort A 2+ hour community cleanup event earns far higher rewards than quick snap-based apps and will be impossible to farm.
  • Long-term holding incentives Schools, clubs, and sponsored groups receive B3TR that stays locked (often staked/vot3) for 6+ months, giving participants pride in sustained impact and potential upside when tokens unlock.
  • Join a legitimate movement You’re contributing to an actual non-profit(pending) with real partners, real cleanups, and on-chain proof.
  • Free tools and support Gloves, bags, supplies, and event coordination are often covered by us or sponsors so you clean for free and still earn.
  • Family-friendly fun Bring kids, meet friends, and enjoy mascot-led events, beach days, surf lessons, and school programs.
  • Recognition that lasts Leaderboards, badges, certificates (especially for youth programs), and shareable on-chain records highlight your impact.
  • Have real influence Host events to turn your passion into funded community projects.

Benefits to Apps

  • We at B3tr Beach understand the importance of the DAO and all the DApps that align with the true vision.
  • We plan to unite the DAO as best we can as we need to collectively bring attention to secure the health of the ecosystem.
  • We need to build relationships and grow as a force that others can’t help to notice.
  • We will partner and collaborate with DApps to help everyone get the attention deserved.

Benefits to Ecosystem

  • Reduced sell pressure: Most rewards go to events, Other DApps/Businesses and 3-6 month sponsorship programs, keeping large amounts of B3TR locked or staked in vot3 for long periods.
  • Healthier tokenomics: Farming becomes obsolete, while real entities and organizations hold longer, reducing volatility and boosting sustained demand.
  • Verified on-chain impact: Every kilogram removed, event completed, and grant awarded is immutably recorded on VeChain, proving measurable environmental results.
  • Mission-driven new users: We onboard schools, surf clubs, youth groups, families, shops, and local governments – participants who join for the mission and tend to hold, not dump.
  • Stronger external narrative: A credible 501(c)(3) with visible cleanups, education programs, and partnerships creates the kind of story media and NGOs champion.
  • DAO-wide network effects: Collaboration with other dApps drives traffic, vot3 power, and shared credibility across VeBetter.
  • Self-funding model: Merch, sponsorships, and grants support operations without draining the treasury.

Bottom line: B3TR BEACH turns short-term farmers into long-term holders, replaces inflated volume with verified impact, and strengthens the entire eco.

X2E Model

B3TR BEACH adapts the VeBetterDAO’s X2E framework into a “Impact-to-Earn” model, rewarding verified environmental cleanups (beaches, rivers, lakes, parks) with B3TR tokens. Unlike quick-snap dApps, it emphasizes sustained, verifiable impact to combat user fatigue and fraud.

Token Allocation

  • 60% user/supporter rewards
  • 20% growth & marketing
  • 15% operational costs
  • 5% unforeseen expenses (emergency buffer)

Grant Request

  • Amount Requested: $30,000

Budget Allocation

  • Legal & Operations: ~20% ($6,000)
  • Development & Tech: ~30% ($15,000)
  • Marketing & Partnerships: ~26% ($4,000)
  • Merchandise & Revenue Streams: ~24% ($5,000)

This lean model ties 100% of funds to verifiable milestones. Surplus from early merch/sponsorships will be recycled into additional cleanups and rewards, creating a self-funding loop.

We Want Your Feedback

This post is a preview of our full grant proposal, and we’d love your input before final submission on VeBetter.

  • Are there features you’d like to see clarified, added or adjusted?
  • Do the proposed timelines and milestones seem realistic?
  • How can we further improve the grant?

Your feedback will help shape the final submission. If this vision resonates with you, we hope you’ll support B3TR BEACH during the upcoming VeBetter grant vote.

Hi,

Team overview is missing hyperlinks to social networks (Linkedin and X). Just by reading the proposal, I have no idea, who are these people.

How exactly you will verify that event organizers, dapps/businesses are real and/or are not taking advantage of publicly available cleanup media and/or cleanup participants without their knowledge?

It’s unclear, how exactly this will be achieved.

The list of benefits is too vague. Some concrete examples of benefits are needed or the list can be removed from the proposal in my opinion.

How exactly you will lock the tokens and what exactly will trigger their release?

Verified actions on-chain do not prove measurable environmental results. How exactly you will ensure the collected data is accurate?

As you plan to implement VBD x2earn model, how much from the user/supporter reward pool will go to actions with proof?

Needs visual updates (separate each milestone stage)

Hi Morb!

Thanks for the feedback! We can add our X handles that’s not an issue. My LinkedIn is connected though but easy fix. Our descriptions explain who we are though so just wanting something to verify is fine.

Hosting Events is not a simple process and must be approved. Our website shows what’s needed. For sake of space we could not squeeze everything. Permits are needed, waivers, liability forms, Identification, safety plans. Each municipality has their own rules and guidelines but it’s not something that can be faked. Hence to answer another question/statement that’s how you prevent farming. Making it too much work for farmers.

Also we have a B3TR BEACH Packet that must also be filled out (about 13 pages) that will incorporate live waste tracking. No AI verification needed. Once again unfarmable.

Within the proposal we outline direct collaboration and benefiting apps/businesses that help to drive or vision. That is with direct funds, as well as sponsorships at events(mugshot advertising, stepr, zeloop etc). We will help by helping expand their reach.

Tokens will be locked using the highest ROI route. Whether that’s lock-2-earn or something else. The release will be based on the terms accepted by the organization that was rewarded B3tr. We will only allow specific time frames stated to stick to our goal.

All data will be verifiable live by each event. Cannot fake live multiple source tracking.

And I don’t think I quite understand the reward pool question. But I’ll assume you mean events rewards vs dapp/business support. 80% to events, and 20% to support. Events are the actions with proof. However the support will also need to be proven worthy by the dapp. They have to specifically be contributing to our mission/goals or health of the DAO.

Visual updates are out of our control but I’m sure is noted.

Overall thanks again for your feedback. Also we had a Twitter space with PaulyTV in which we explained a plethora of information.

Thanks again and hope that helps.

Hi, thanks for the reply,

Yeah, something to verify and give credibility.

Farming/abuse/fraud can happen on all levels.

Yeah, those outlined statements, how you plant to work with other dapps that align with the growth of the DAO, are very vague. That’s what all dapps that come to DAO write in their description, how they will drive sustainability etc. It’s a filler phrase, not really something measurable.
While having heart in the right place and good intentions is great, that alone does not convince me to have confidence you are bringing something valuable to the table.

Just by reading the proposal, I was not convinced it is ready for publication.
Would be great if questions about who you are and what you bring to the table, are answered in the first sentences. So the reader can know from the get go, what it is about, and other parts just fill in the gaps and build the story around it.

And thanks for replying to other questions! Sorry, I’m a picky reader, tried to give my honest thoughts. Hope it helps and best of luck!

Hey Morb sorry for the late response.

While yes farming can def happen if the farmer is determined enough however farmers want quick and easy. It’s a an extreme deterrent. I’ve been here as well as our team for many years within the community and seen just about it all(rugs, betrayal, fraud, scammers, farmers, volatility etc). If I’m Being honest are socials wont tell as much. My LinkedIn shows me but it doesn’t show our ecosystem experience, however I will add the X links for the final draft. But while all may not know who we are a decent majority do. We are active community members. We are investors for over 5 years.

And we are not like all DAPPS that come onto the DAO. We are a business entity already. No DApp upto this point has been that. Not only that but pursing our NOT for Profit status that we are waiting for IRS approval(also within the proposal) is something undone. Point, snap, reward. It’s a broken fatigued system at this point. And the focal point of farmers and constant drainage. No DApp “had” an intention of injection back INTO the DAO, meaning buying back and reinvesting to strengthen as well as garnering outside web2 users attention in a more natural and authentic way. This is to no fault of there own because of how the DAO was set up to begin with and that doesn’t mean that there purpose of sustainability isn’t there although a large quantity aren’t and that’s why proposals have been made to remove certain apps that don’t protect the DAO. We are quite the contrary to how others approach the DAO.
And like I also stated earlier we are community members within the eco already and have constant convos with the people that have a lot of influence based on what they do for the DAO.

And to answer the collaboration/partnership question: each Dapp(not all just the ones that align with our vision/mission) will have there own systems. For instance zeloop almost directly aligns with our goals because they are also an environmental cleaning initiative just not on the level we are doing or specifically how we are doing it. But we have government connections in the UK already established in that we can help them and they can help us with systems they already have in place with waste tracking etc as well as other outside connections through their networks. One hand washes the other. That’s just one example. We haven’t discussed anything further with other dapps but have been tossed a line by a few as potential partnerships. The relationship has to be beneficial for all sides with the DAO always on the back of the mind.

Our hearts, our wallets, our investments and our mind are all in the right place. If you know the issues of the DAO you would know that the biggest things are :

A) Farming

B)User Fatigue(Single action reward system that doesn’t curb sell pressure)

C) No true business models(some do now and are starting to think that way because of community sentiment and because that’s the only true way forward)

D) Real world awareness and onboarding and re injection/reinvestment into the DAO.

So when you say you’re not sure we bring something valuable to the table, we cleanly address all these issues, have the outside connections already in place, revenue streams set and the doors wide open. And finally transparency. Almost forgot that’s one of the biggest. Being able to see and know what funds are being directed to in plain view do ALL to see. The purpose of the grant is to take us to the next steps and fully integrate into the DAO as that’s the purest way to bring the value back.

I would also like to add an update as we just officially received our IRS approval for Not Profit Tax exempt status.

We take all feedback and suggestions. So we appreciate your statements and overall perception. We want to be as clear as possible so we will make adjustments to enhance the points you made. Thank you for giving your time and attention.
