You are right — the way I presented the budget and scope wasn’t as clear as it should have been. I will add a more transparent breakdown of costs (venue, decoration, staffing, promotion, etc.) so that everyone understands how the treasury funds and other sources will be used.
Regarding the dApps, my intention was not to limit the opportunity to just three, but rather to start with those I could secure quickly under the sponsorship deadlines. To clarify, we will display the logos of all dApps available on VeBetterDAO as part of the sponsorship section, ensuring fairness.
For dApps that actively cooperate, we can additionally distribute flyers, feature them on digital signage, and highlight their use cases. The main business discussions will focus on Mugshot, Greencart, and Cleanify, since they are most ready for social implementation. However, other dApps will also be introduced to visitors who show interest, so that the initiative remains open and inclusive.
Very glad to see a proposal coming from the Japan community, which shows the extension and inclusiveness of VeBetterDAO — participation knows no borders. The proposal already looks quite solid, and thank you for the effort put into it.
The real challenge will of course be in the execution phase.
One small suggestion: It would be helpful to clarify the fallback plan in case the crowdfunding or sponsorship target is not met.
For example, would the team focus on ensuring the EXPO participation as the minimum viable activity, while scaling down the nationwide expansion? This would give the community more confidence in the feasibility and risk management of the proposal.
Thank you very much for even providing a Japanese translation
The concern you pointed out is certainly valid, and I also feel the same way.
Therefore, I believe it is important to maintain the current large-scale plan as the main direction, while also clearly stating a fallback plan as an alternative. This way, we can present both an ambitious vision and a realistic guarantee of feasibility to the DAO community. In the fallback plan, the focus would shift to major cities as the base for implementation, ensuring that the EXPO participation and social adoption efforts are still delivered with impact.
Due to a last-minute change, our website announcement was delayed, and we decided to scale down unused options. As a result, the invoice will be reduced by approx. ¥100,000 (from ¥2.17M → ¥2.07M). The USD request ($13,500) remains unchanged. Once the final invoice is received, we will update the JPY figures accordingly.
I noticed that earlier drafts may have unintentionally given the impression that our co-sponsorship with Glo was already confirmed. To clarify, it is still under discussion, though progressing positively.
The main proposal text has now been revised to avoid this misunderstanding. Thank you for your understanding and feedback — transparency is very important to us.
